Arbetsgruppen inom rättssociologi välkomnar teoretiska och empiriska studier av samspelet mellan sociala och rättsliga normer, beteenden, institutioner och processer. Den befrämjar alla studier av rätten som genomförts utifrån en social kontext med sociologiska/samhällsvetenskapliga teorier och metoder. Följande teman utgör arbetsgruppens intresseområden:

The Working Group in Sociology of Law welcomes theoretical and empirical studies of the interplay between different forms of regulations, human behaviour, social processes, organisations and institutions. It promotes all studies of law in society that apply sociological or other social science theories and methods. The following themes are included in the working group’s areas of interest:
